EMD: INTERIORS

Design can be anything you want it to be.

It can be simple, 

it can be intricate,

 it can be relatable,

just as much as it could be misunderstood. 

My design aesthetic, which has taken me years to

confidently understand and refine,

focuses on form and function collectively. 

I have always obsessed over the placement 

of objects & the spaces that surround me.

Often I would set up areas with inanimate

pieces I found beautiful, just because. 

Throughout my studies & life changing experiences,

I have shifted my design ideals towards simplicity. 

Restraint in design takes a great deal of practice and 

acceptance to let go of the things we think we need. 

In our lives, there is a story within everything we do,

and everything we own. 

Home is a reflection of those stories.

Home is a feeling, one that I love to create. 

The chaos of the world 

is always knocking on our doors-

but from the inside, we get to say,

“Im home”
